OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE POSITION
Description:
Solatron Technologies Inc. located in Southern California is seeking an
aggressive outside sales representative to
assist our clients in the selection and purchase of our high quality residential
and commercial solar grid intertie product offerings. We are currently receiving hundreds of solid sales leads per
month so this position requires a thorough understanding of the sales process
and very strong follow up skills. Because of the number of inquiries that we are
receiving, organizational skills are paramount. We are seeking an
individual with a strong "can do" attitude that knows how to close deals.
Technical knowledge and or knowledge of Solar/ Renewable Energy is a plus.
Requirements
Thorough knowledge and a strong belief in the importance of adhering to the
steps involved in the sales process.
Ability to follow up, follow up and follow up and close the sale. Our goal is to
have no "Inactive" sales leads.
Ability to keep accurate and systematic records as to where each sales prospect
is in the sales process. Proactive customer service is at the very core of our
company's business philosophy.
The
position requires that you provide our design staff with accurate information
concerning roof size and conditions, including photographs of the roof, and the
collection of customer electric bills
Report regularly to the sales manager and coordinate with logistics management
staff to ensure a smooth transition from the close of sale to product delivery
and installation.
Education and Experience
A Minimum of an
Associate Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
3 + years sales experience in the sale of large ticket items, financial
investments, real estate.
Access to reliable mode of transportation, current auto insurance and a valid
California driver’s license.
Residential sales requires selling in client’s home.
Local territory, no overnight travel necessary.
Keep accurate records of customer communications.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office tools, and Internet
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
